We're excited to welcome three new incredible women to our Board of Directors, along with welcoming back much of our 2023 Board (some in new positions)! In 2024, we're expanding our focus to build our digital marketing, media relations and memberships functions to shake the communication table for Black women in Charlotte. Shakoya Brown, Director of Memberships
Shakoya recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Master of Arts in Communication Studies. As a passionate communicator with deep roots in Charlotte, we're excited to have her onboard, helping to build out our Memberships strategy, creating exclusive programming and thought leadership for our Table Shakers! Janae Cofield, Director of PR & Communications
Janae recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Master of Arts in Communication Studies. She's dedicated to DEI & communications - this rockstar is going to be integral to ensure we present our purpose-driven approach to the Charlotte community at large in a way that feels uniquely us. Welcome, Janae!
Dominique Prescott, Director of Digital Marketing
Dominique is a brand strategist and visual designer; an artist in every way. With her business, Dap Designz, she developed the Let's Shake the Table, Inc. brand look and feel we all know and love. She's now going to use her entrepreneurial spirit to drive our digital marketing strategy, building our paid and shared media presence. Welcome, Dominique!
